This was really outstanding, especially for the price. I came here a few times under the previous management and it was ok, but fairly basic pub grub. The new food though is really, really good. I went for a hot honey chicken burger, which was absolutely great and genuinely these were some of the best chips I’ve had anywhere. I eat out a lot and often pay substantially more for food that is not on this level. Looking forward to my next visit!

What was suppose to be our dream taking on here, the pub I started to work in when I was 13 year old then managed and then leased. We just hit so unlucky with 3 floods & a 12 week road closure and all the rising costs 
We put everything we could into the place in the time we had it & have some amazing memories that was made here
We couldn’t thank all our staff enough for all their hard work in the time with us & behind the scenes they have done so much for us, they are all like family to us
Its closed from us for now & will open again in the future by someone else But for now.. happy new year to everyone & best wishes , you’ll all be missed
